One summary entry per payout and month, so each sale lands in the month it was paid.
Revenue goes to your sales account, or to a different account for any price, such as a template pack or a deposit.
Price → sales account
The tax on each invoice or Checkout payment goes to the account for its Stripe tax rate. A payment with no tax breakdown waits for your decision.
Tax rate → tax payable
A refund reverses its original sale and tax in proportion. Chargebacks go to their own account.
Refund → sales and tax reversal
Processing, Billing and other Stripe fees go to your fees account. The tax Stripe charges on its fees can go to your sales tax account to claim back.
Fee → expense, fee tax → tax account
Stripe balances in CAD or USD. Activity in your other currency books at the Bank of Canada rate for the entry date, with any rounding kept visible.
Stripe amount → rate → book amount
Each sync compares what was imported with the balance Stripe reports. Anything that can't be booked with certainty waits for you.

Subscriptions, Stripe invoices, Checkout and Payment Links. Setttle keeps the books; Stripe keeps running your billing.
Invoices you send from Setttle and get paid through Stripe are Setttle Payments, booked as each invoice is paid. Stripe sales is for selling on Stripe itself.
The app can't charge, refund or change anything in your Stripe account. Setttle doesn't keep your customers' names, emails or card details.
Sales book when the payment is made. Spreading an annual plan over its term is a manual entry for now.

Setttle Payments collects payment for invoices you send from Setttle. Stripe sales books what you sell on Stripe itself: subscriptions, Stripe invoices, Checkout and Payment Links. A Stripe account that takes Setttle Payments can't also be connected for Stripe sales yet.
Read-only access to your balance, payouts, charges, refunds, disputes, invoices, Checkout sessions and tax rates. It can't change anything in Stripe. See the privacy policy for what Setttle keeps.
No. Choose a date to book from, and only Stripe activity from that date posts. Earlier history still imports, so the balance check stays complete.
Yes. Each Stripe account feeds one Setttle company and gets its own clearing account, so a company can book several Stripe accounts side by side.
Imports stop and the stored access is deleted. Entries already posted stay in your books.
Max, at CAD $19 a month with a 7-day free trial. See pricing.
Install the Setttle app, choose your accounts once, and connect your bank. Each payout lands in your books matched to its deposit.
